Ana-Marie Codina is the Chief Executive Officer of Codina Partners, a premier real estate development and investment firm dedicated to transforming South Florida’s communities into thriving, dynamic centers for living, working, culture, and commerce. Since co-founding the firm in 2009 with her father, Armando Codina, she has overseen all aspects of the company’s operations, driving visionary strategies that merge innovation, sustainability, and community impact.
Prior to becoming CEO, Codina spearheaded the master planning and development of Downtown Doral, a 250-acre, mixed-use urban center in Miami-Dade County. The project encompasses more than 5,000 residential units, 250,000 square feet of retail space, over 400,000 square feet of commercial, Downtown Doral Charter Elementary and Upper Schools, Doral City Hall, a three-acre public park, U-Health Doral Medical Center and the Doral Cultural Arts Center, positioning the city as a model for thoughtfully integrated urban development.
A recognized civic and community leader, Codina serves on the Board of Directors of the Knight Foundation and is the founding chair of both Downtown Doral Charter School boards. She is the Founding Co-Chair of Partnership for Miami, a coalition of business leaders dedicated to fostering a world-class, inclusive city, and is a past president of the Miami City Ballet Board of Trustees. In 2021, she was selected as a member of the prestigious Henry Crown Fellows Class at the Aspen Institute, a testament to her entrepreneurial leadership and commitment to social impact.
Codina holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a B.A. from Trinity College, reflecting her strong foundation in strategic thinking, leadership, and civic engagement.
